$100K Tickets & $1M Package with Private Dinner
President-elect Donald Trump is preparing for his inauguration on January 20. According to reports, at the first Crypto Ball on January 17, Trump’s super political action committee MAGA Inc. will host a VIP reception, and artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency czar David Sacks will attend. Despite the high profile of the event, Trump himself will not be attending.
Exclusive tickets to the VIP reception are priced at $100,000 each, or attendees can purchase a four-ticket package valued at $1 million, which includes the opportunity to attend a private dinner with President Trump at a later date.
As part of preparations for Trump’s inauguration, crypto industry leaders are looking to strengthen their influence in the new administration. Stablecoin company Circle used USDC to donate $1 million to the inaugural committee.
Cryptocurrency leaders are also vying for positions on Trump’s planned cryptocurrency advisory council, which could include as many as 22 CEOs and founders. Early Bitcoin investor David Sacks has been named White House chief technology officer and cryptocurrency czar. Cryptocurrency industry executives will continue to gather in Washington as Inauguration Day approaches.
Will Bitcoin Price Increase?
Bitcoin is currently trading below $94,000, signaling a mixed start to the year for the cryptocurrency market. After a shaky start, experts say the market is likely to experience a roller coaster ride in the first quarter.
While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have experienced a post-election rally, some concerns about Trump’s cryptocurrency policies are emerging. On the one hand, Trump’s pledge could help cryptocurrency companies grow, but the possibility of regulatory changes creates a layer of uncertainty. These developments could cause Bitcoin price volatility, creating an unpredictable environment for cryptocurrency investors.
However, market insiders say the long-term outlook for the cryptocurrency market remains strong. At the same time, over time, lawmakers are expected to address important issues such as stablecoins and market structure.
