Study Reveals That 93% of Nigerians Are Eager to Invest in Crypto
A recent survey by ConsenSys and YouGov highlights the growing interest in cryptocurrencies in emerging markets. Research shows that 93% of Nigerians are eager to invest in cryptocurrencies within the next year, followed by South Africans at 77%. Other countries such as the Philippines, India and Indonesia also showed strong enthusiasm, with 59%, 58% and 54% respectively. In contrast, developed markets are less interested in investing in cryptocurrencies, with only 41% of Americans and 15% of Britons expressing willingness. The findings highlight the wide gap in cryptocurrency adoption between emerging and developed economies, demonstrating the growing potential of digital assets in a region experiencing rapid financial innovation.
