Grayscale Considers 39 Altcoins for Investment in Q1 2025
Grayscale has unveiled a range of cryptocurrencies, including meme coins and AI tokens, that may soon be added to its investment offerings.
As part of the review process, investment managers adjust their product catalog 15 days after the quarter-end.
Grayscale announces potential candidates for Q1 2025
in an official statementGrayscale said it is considering adding 39 altcoins to its growing suite of investable digital assets. According to the list, as has been done in the past, the 39 altcoins are divided into five categories: currencies (crypto-assets that serve as a medium of exchange or store of value), smart contract Platforms, Finance, Consumers & Culture, Utilities & Services.

Notably, this is not the first time Grayscale has added altcoins to its investment suite. Investment managers have taken similar action Added 35 altcoins to its investment catalog in mid-October.
It is worth noting that some altcoins from the previously considered list remain in the latest list. Among them are KAS, APT, ARB and TIA. In the same way, others were deleted. This hints at the complexity that comes with entering Grayscale’s list of investable projects.
“The list may change quarterly as some multi-asset funds are restructured and we launch new single-asset products,” Grayscale additional.
Assets or items marked with an asterisk
Only added to the list after December 31st. Their merits may be based on emerging trends that are growing in the cryptocurrency industry. Meanwhile, this updated list suggests Grayscale is paying attentionrandom weighted average method ,Virtue
and AI, with particular interest in AI proxy tokens. Additionally, Grayscale also includes Binance Coin (BNB) and Hyperliquid (HYPE), which are tokens associated with their respectiveCentralized and decentralized exchanges
. This indicates that the company is looking to enter both markets and expand its investment scope. Furthermore, Grayscale’s announcement did not have a significant impact on the prices of 39 altcoins. The overall market has seenContinuous position closing in the past week
