MoonPay Acquires Helio for $175 Million to Expand Crypto Payment Infrastructure
According to a latest report Fox Business ChannelCrypto payments platform MoonPay has acquired blockchain payments processor Helio for $175 million, potentially kicking off a series of mergers in the digital asset space under the crypto-friendly Trump administration.
The acquisition, MoonPay’s largest to date, will enhance its payments system by integrating Helio’s technology, which enables crypto transactions on certain e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Discord.

Last year, MoonPay signed partnerships with traditional payment giants PayPal and Venmo to allow users to purchase cryptocurrencies through these platforms.
