World Liberty Financial On Aggressive Accumulation Spree, Is Trump Buying These Coins?
Shortly after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, Trump’s World Liberty Financial (WLF) made another cryptocurrency purchase.
Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence Insights also confirmed the transactions in a post on X, noting that WLFI switched its funds to Bitcoin ahead of the inauguration. “The moment he was sworn in, Trump’s project World Liberty FI bought $4.7 million in Bitcoin,” Arkham point out.
President Trump and his cryptocurrency team have acquired a large number of major cryptocurrencies through a decentralized platform through World Freedom Financial Corporation (WLFI). According to Arkham Intelligence, WLFI purchased approximately $47 million worth of Ethereum, $4.4 million of Aave, and $4.5 million of Tron. Additionally, they purchased $47 million in Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), $5.5 million in Chainlink, and $4.5 million in Ethena Labs tokens.
The purchases sparked interest after Eric Trump teased an upcoming investment amid ongoing cryptocurrency controversy involving the Trump family.
Currently, BTC trading price has recovered to around $104,000, reflecting the continued uncertainty and volatility of digital assets. With a new administration taking office, the cryptocurrency community is awaiting clear results on potential regulatory actions that could impact the future of the industry.
