In the latest developments, Nasdaq has formally proposed a proposed rule change to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list shares and traded shares of Coinshares XRP ETF Trust.
It is worth noting that Registersubmitted on February 10, represents a significant action adopted by the XRP agency. The proposal is intended to list and facilitate share trading in Coinshares XRP ETF Trust.
This could increase XRP liquidity, attract new capital, and could lead to short-term price pumps as traders eye regulatory approvals and increase market exposure.
The CoinShares XRP ETF proposal is part of a trend in similar applications for exchange-traded products based on cryptocurrencies. If approved, it will provide institutional and retail investors with a regulated way to not directly own the asset.
