Metaplanet buys 269 bitcoins, over 2,000-BTC milestone
Metaplanet Inc. announced an additional purchase of 269.43 bitcoins for 14,846,322 yen, spending a total of 4 billion yen. This raises its total Bitcoin holdings to 2,031.41 BTC, with an average cost per coin of 12,243,936 yen. The move is consistent with Metaplanet’s ongoing Bitcoin Treasury strategy.
