Elon Musk’s DOGE Launches SEC Probe as Ripple Lawsuit Nears End

In the latest development, Elon Musk’s Governor has announced fraud, abuse and wasteful audits of the SEC. The cryptocurrency community is watching this development closely, especially as the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple is about to come to a conclusion.
The DOGE_SEC account has urged the public to share information about SEC actions. “The Governor is seeking help from the public! Please DM in insights on finding and addressing waste, fraud and abuse.” Account posted.
The move sparked a heated debate among legal and financial experts. To this end, Coinbase’s chief legal officer Paul Grewal proposed a rule that requires the SEC to pay legal fees for defendants who successfully fought against their lawsuits. Other voices in the crypto community have also raised concerns about the SEC’s actions, especially in its ongoing Ripple lawsuit.
Additionally, Ripple’s Clo, Stuart Alderoty responded to the SEC’s ongoing review, saying, “I have a receipt,” indicating that key documents related to the case will be available soon. However, whether this can quickly end the Ripple case and the SEC case remains to be seen.
