As BTC Approaches $100K, Tether mints an additional $3 billion in USDT Tokens
Stablecoin issuer Tether minted an additional $3 billion in USDT tokens on the Ethereum and Tron networks on November 23 as crypto market trading volumes increased as the price of Bitcoin approached $100,000. Data from Arkham Intelligence shows that $2 billion USDt is minted on the Ethereum blockchain, and another $1 billion USDt is minted in continuous transactions on the Tron network. Notably, Tether has minted approximately $13 billion since November 8, 2024. The large number of newly minted stablecoins is viewed by many traders as a bullish sign for price action.
