Bitcoin ETFs Now Hold More Bitcoins Than Satoshi Nakamoto!
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF holdings have exceeded Satoshi Nakamoto’s total holdings, reaching approximately 1,104,534 BTC, becoming the entity with the most Bitcoins in the world. It is worth noting that the cumulative holding time of these ETFs is less than one year. Of these funds, BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF has been the most successful. IBIT currently holds $51.46 billion in AUM, accounting for almost half of the $109.15 billion in total net assets held by these funds. BlackRock’s IBIT also just passed the record $50 billion mark. Satoshi Nakamoto ranks second with approximately 1,100,000 BTC, followed by Binance (633,103), MicroStrategy (402,100) and the US government (198,109).
