Coinbase to Suspend FTM-PERP Trading; Price Dip Ahead?
In a recent X post, Coinbase announced its decision to suspend Fantom-PERP trading as of approximately 10:30 AM UTC on January 24, 2025. FTM-PERP trading will be terminated on Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advance, and the final price will be settled according to a predetermined method. The financing rate will be set to zero until final settlement of the final financing period. It will then automatically settle open positions (if any) at the time of the pause. This development has FTM traders worried about the future price of the Fantom token. FTM is currently trading at $0.6895, up more than 4% in the past 24 hours.
