Crypto Market Faces $483M Liquidation
The cryptocurrency market has seen massive liquidations as digital asset prices have plummeted. According to data from CoinGlass, $483.61 million was liquidated across exchanges in the past 24 hours, with long positions leading the sell-off at $342.34 million and short positions at $141.34 million. Ethereum (ETH) led the altcoin liquidation with its price falling 1.31% to $3,317.76, a loss of $86.43 million. Solana (SOL) liquidations totaled $16.68 million, with a heavy bias towards long positions. XRP faced $14.16 million in liquidations but remained relatively resilient, trading at $2.32 despite a drop in trading volume.
