Ripple 24 Receives Two Unlocks Of 500M XRP
In the latest development, “Ripple 24”, marked by xrpscan as Ripple’s official address, was unlocked twice on December 1, with a total of 500 million XRP worth more than $970 million. On the first of every month, Ripple uses the XRP ledger to unlock 1 billion XRP tokens from the escrow system. On December 1, the company will unlock $1.6 billion worth of tokens. The unlocked volume in December 2024 accounts for 1.75% of the current circulating supply of 56.99 billion. XRP is currently trading at $1.93, up more than 3% in the past 24 hours.
