Ubisoft Integrates Ethereum Name Service in Gaming Universe
Ubisoft has partnered with the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) integrates blockchain-based identity into the Captain Laserhawk universe.
This collaboration provides players with a personalized blockchain-based identity in the game.
ENS’ first game cooperation
According to the latest news announcement from Ethereum name serviceplayers will receive personalized Niji Warrior ID cards, each linked to an ENS subname under “edenonline.eth”.
These subnames connect in-game characters with players’ Ethereum addresses, creating a seamless digital identity within the game.
This set provides players with a consistent, identifiable identity within the Captain Laserhawk universe. According to the studio, this will enhance engagement and immersion.
“Integrating ENS into our project has been a no-brainer and we are proud to present an original approach to decentralized identity,” explain Louis Garoche, Ubisoft Blockchain Technology Lead.
