US Inflation Data Comes In Line With Expectations at 2.3%, Bitcoin Climbs To $95K
US PCE inflation data was in line with expectations. Inflation rose 2.3% year-on-year. Meanwhile, US inflation rose 0.2%, similar to September’s data. Core personal consumption expenditures data, which excludes food and energy, showed inflation rose 2.8% year-on-year, in line with expectations and up from 2.7% in September. Core personal consumption expenditures rose 0.3% month-on-month. The annualized quarterly rate of real GDP in the third quarter was revised to 2.8%, in line with expectations. Bitcoin price rose back above $95,000 after the release of US inflation data.
